The Family entered the electrical industry in 1906 when Philip E. Moock founded the Moock Electric Supply Company in Canton, Ohio. The passion for the electrical industry continued when P.E. Moock’s daughter Gourney Moock, married Ralph Furbay and they formed The Furbay Electric Supply Company in 1934. Through three (3) generations of Furbay’s the company has remained independently owned and dedicated to the electrical distribution business. Furbay Electric began supplying the Oil & Gas industry soon after exploration started in the Utica Shale. Our solid relationships within the industry and premium products and services spurred Furbay Electric to form its Furbay Oil & Gas division.
