SEMINAR: Overview of Project Finance for Utility-Scale Renewables

You’re invited to join Steptoe & Johnson for the next session in our Renewable Energy Webcast Series.
Leaders of Steptoe & Johnson’s Renewable Energy Team will discuss some of the most common types of financings available for
utility-scale renewable energy generation projects and explain the role of debt and equity financing at different points in a project’s life cycle.
The presenters will explain the importance of offtake agreements and explore the elements and assets that may be necessary for a project to be financeable, including the economic considerations that drive investment.
Additionally, the presentation will provide examples of common structures for “tax equity financing” and the use of tax credits and tax incentive monetization structures available to developers of, and investors in, renewable energy projects.
The session, by attorneys Britt A. Freund and Joshua L. Jarrell, is part of a series highlighting carbon neutral and renewable energy projects across the country.
This is an online event.
